Christmas Day

I only have Christmas Day pictures from Grandma Lindas'. We videotaped the kids at our house. We typically have Christmas lunch at Grandma Linda's and then do our gift exchange/opening. Here are some pictures from the day.

Christmas Eve

One of our Christmas traditions is to have the kids each receive a unique ornament and pajames to open from their stocking Christmas Eve night. Tyler received a Nascar 'race car guy' ornament which is very fitting for him right now as he loves the 'real race car movies and not the ones with eyes' ya'll know what I mean.

Lauren received a very beautiful, sparkly, dress ornament since she loves anything sparkly.

Morgan received a trebel clef ornament most befitting to her as she is advancing so well with her piano.

All 3 with their new pj's and ornaments. Merry Christmas Eve!!

Christmas program at church

I apologize for the blurry pictures but I really wanted to share these. Our children were in a church program and Morgan and Lauren were angels. It was very short, sweet, and nice. It was done to a Third Day song. Can't quite remember the name but if anyone knows the band Third Day; anything they sing is awesome. The girls very much enjoyed being angels.

Tyler, on the other hand, was supposed to recite a verse and sing a song along his other pre-school kids. But, as you can see from the pictures, he would have none of this!! He decided it was best just to cover his eyes and then 'no one would be able to see him' per Tyler. When he started to do this, it was pretty hilarious!!

Neighborhood Christmas gathering

Our neighborhood had a Christmas party to kick off the season and they had quite an array of fun things to do- such as; drink juice and eat great cookies, spread peanut butter and birdseed on pine cones and decorate a tree. However, our kids thought this was much too extravagant and really only needed the park to play and free icicles to eat. Notice picture A as Morgan demonstrates that the icicles are quite yummy!!

They did provide a campfire with marshmellows to roast. We did enjoy this activity along with our good friends the Bakers!

Santa also came and Tyler especially enjoyed meeting 'The real Santa' where he went to proceed and explain to him how all he wanted was a REAL gun for Christmas. This really be too much to provide for a 4 yr old.

All in all, playing at the park in the snow was the Big Winner for the day!! :)

Away In the Manger

Our girls sang 'Away in the Manger' at church. It was so lovely and a great way to start off our Christmas season.

More birthday party pics

We also celebrated Tyler's 4th birthday in September

Anyone that knows Tyler knows he love for race cars, army guys, fighter jets, and basically anything that is really fast. (Oh, and we cannot forget his obsession with the color black) He decided he would like to have a Race car birthday party theme. He had few close friends over and had a great time!! Here is a picture of some of the boys around the birthday table.

Of course, this is Tyler taking his picture. He believes this is a normal way to take pictures.

Our little buddy Ethan; what a cutie!!

Here is Blake all decked out in his race car party hat!!

And Cody giving us a million dollar smile!!!

We also went to a family wedding in September....

Tyler getting into the dancing groove with his sisters and cousin Kayla Jo!

Papa and Grandma taking a cute picture with some of their grandkids and nephew Zach.

Of course, there is always an opportunity for a High School Musical pose. :)

Morgan and Lauran with Samantha and Kayla taking such a pretty picture by the delicous wedding cake.

What have we been up to????

The "Bridge to Taribitha" movie really has had an impact on our kids. They love the movie so much that our kids along with some of the neighbor kids created their own "bridge to imaginationithia".

Their own little adventure world.

Lauren and the neighbors decided they would just go camping in the kids
bathtub. Good fun memories to them to keep forever.......
